Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Chitrakoot & Local Sightseeing

Upon arrival in Chitrakoot, meet and greet assistance followed by hotel check-in and some relaxation. Later begin sightseeing with the sacred Kamadgiri Temple, considered the spiritual center of Chitrakoot and believed to fulfill devotees’ wishes. Continue to visit Ram Ghat, situated on the banks of the Mandakini River, where Lord Rama is believed to have spent time during exile. Visit Bharat Milap Temple, associated with the emotional meeting of Lord Rama and Bharat, followed by Hanuman Dhara, a holy site featuring a natural water stream flowing over Lord Hanuman’s idol. In the evening, enjoy the peaceful spiritual atmosphere at Ram Ghat Aarti. Return to hotel for overnight stay in Chitrakoot.

Day 2: Chitrakoot Local Sightseeing & Departure

After breakfast, proceed for remaining sightseeing covering Gupt Godavari Caves, known for their religious significance and natural cave formations. Continue to Sati Anusuya Ashram, associated with Mata Anusuya and surrounded by scenic natural beauty. Visit Janaki Kund, believed to be the bathing place of Goddess Sita, followed by Spatik Shila, where Lord Rama and Mata Sita are believed to have spent peaceful moments. Later, explore local markets for souvenirs and religious items (if time permits). Finally, transfer to railway station/airport for departure with blessed memories of Chitrakoot.
